A trailhead to Lake Coronado Boat Ramp Trail includes a paved path to the island. Kick back at one of the picnic tables on Lake Coronado’s beach and grill up your catch. Swimming and other lake water sports are popular and boat slips are available.

Lake Cortez: Soak up the sun on Lake Cortez. With Hot Springs Village’s mild climate, you’ll have plenty of time to relax beachside. Fishing, swimming and other water sports are also popular on this lake. Gather at the picnic area, pavilion or gazebo. The boat ramp is located off Carmona Road.

Lake DeSoto: Cast your line in the waters of Lake DeSoto and you may reel in the ”big one.” Hot Springs Village lakes are full of bass, crappie and other sport fish. Put your feet up and relax at Lake DeSoto’s beach area. Go for a stroll on one of the nearby trails. The lake’s boat ramp is located on Marina Drive off DeSoto Blvd. Boat slip rentals are available at Waypoint Marina along with boat, canoe and paddle boat rentals.

Smaller HSV Lakes: Relax on one of several smaller lakes. Anglers and boaters alike enjoy fishing, kayaking or canoeing in peace. Towing sports are not permitted on these lakes.

Community Venues Offer Fun for All

Looking for something fun to do in Hot Springs Village? Then check out these venues for entertainment and learning options galore. Whether you want to enjoy a great performance, dance the night away or host a party, you’ll find plenty of options below.

Kick back and relax with your friends while enjoying some great music during the Rock Porch Sessions, a free music series held the first Saturday the month, April through October, in Hot Springs Village. The series closes its 2017 season with high energy band, Moxie, at 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Waypoint at DeSoto Marina.

Jam along with musicians of all skill levels at the monthly Rhythm Jams, which are held every third Sunday at Grove Park in Hot Springs Village. Musicians, singers, and listeners gather and share various genres of music, musical instruments as well as the history behind the music. Jams are open to all ages, skill levels with non-amplified instruments.

Enjoy the best entertainment just outside your door at the Woodlands Auditorium, Ponce de Leon Performing Arts Center. This 650-seat theatre hosts about 75 cultural and entertainment events each year including Broadway-style musicals, drama, dance, vocal and choral performances.
